Recommendation Widget
How to Use
Create the Widget
After selecting the Recommendation Widget, you will first see the content creation screen. Enter a name for the In-App Recommendation content and optionally add a description for internal reference.
You can also add multiple languages to your content, copy the configuration from existing content, or create a blank content and configure it from scratch.
Recommendation Rule Selection
In this section, select the recommendation rule that determines which products will be displayed in the widget. The selected rule defines the recommendation logic and product selection used to generate personalised recommendations.
Click Select to choose an existing recommendation rule.
For more information about creating and configuring recommendation rules, see the Recommendation Rules section.
Widget Layout & Structure
Use the Widget Layout & Structure section to define how recommended products will be displayed in your application.

Widget Layout
Under Layout Type, you can choose between Grid, Horizontal, and Vertical layouts depending on how you want the product cards to appear.
You can also enable Auto Play to automatically move through the displayed products, Navigation Arrows to allow users to navigate between products, and Pagination Dots to indicate the available product groups or slides. Use Max Product Displayed to control the maximum number of products shown in the widget.
Customize Style
The Customize Style section allows you to control the appearance of the recommendation widget and its individual product elements. You can customise the widget title, product card, product image, product title, product price, discounted price, and CTA button.
Widget Title
Enable Show Widget Title to display a title above the recommendation widget. You can enter a custom title and customise its font family, colour, size, weight, line height, and alignment.
Product Card
Use the Product Card settings to define the size and appearance of each product card. You can adjust the card width and height, border radius, border width and colour, spacing between cards, background colour, and product box padding.
Enable Unify Paddings to apply the same padding value to all sides. You can also enable Open in New Tab to open the product page in a new browser tab when a user selects a product.
Product Image
Use the Product Image settings to control how product images are displayed inside the product card. You can define the image width, adjust the image radius, and configure the image padding.
Product Title
Enable Show Product Title to display the product name on the product card. You can customise its font family, colour, size, weight, line height, alignment, and padding.
Product Price
Enable Show Product Price to display the product price. You can customise the font and text appearance and define the currency used to display the price, such as TL, $, or €.
Discounted Price
Enable Show Discounted Price to display the original and discounted prices together. You can display the prices horizontally and enable Cross out the price to visually distinguish the original price from the discounted price.
The font, colour, size, weight, line height, alignment, currency, and spacing of the discounted price can also be customised.
CTA Button
Enable Show Button to add a call-to-action button to the product card. You can define the button text and customise its font, colour, size, weight, line height, alignment, background colour, border radius, and padding.
Once the widget is configured, save and publish the content to make it available for use in your In-App campaigns.

In the campaign creation flow, select Recommendation as the campaign type. Follow the steps described in the In-App Inline Campaign Creation to configure the campaign.
Targeting
In the Targeting tab, select Application under Target Device.
Under Trigger, select Inline as the target type and enter the Property ID of the In-App Recommendation content you want to display.

Inline Target
- iOS Property ID: The identifier of the area where the content will be displayed in the iPhone or iPad version of your application.
- Android Property ID: The corresponding identifier of the same content placement in the Android version of your application.
After completing the campaign configuration, continue with the remaining steps described in the In-App Campaign Creation guide to review and publish the campaign.
Use Case
A fashion e-commerce brand uses the In-App Recommendation Engine to increase product discovery and conversion within its mobile application. When a customer views a product, the brand displays a recommendation widget featuring similar products or complementary items, such as Similar Items or Frequently Bought Together recommendations.
The personalised recommendations help customers discover relevant products without having to search for them manually. As a result, the brand increases engagement, encourages customers to explore more products, and improves opportunities for higher basket sizes and conversions.
