Segment Snapshot

The Segment Snapshot feature simplifies the segment calculation process and enhances the user experience by providing detailed information after each calculation. Users can easily see the most recent calculation results and decide whether to recalculate their segment.

1: Create Your Segment

Navigate to Audience > Segments > New to create a new segment.
Define the criteria for your segment.
Once your segment is ready, click Save and Calculate.

2: Save and Calculate

Upon clicking Save and Calculate, the system saves your segment and begins the calculation process.
The segment is automatically saved whether or not a timeout occurs.

3: View Calculation Details

After initiating the calculation, an information box (Info Box) will appear at the top of the segment details page.
This box contains details from the Last Calculation Time and shows the most recent segment snapshot.

Please note that this data is not current and may differ from the most up-to-date information.

4: Timeout Handling

If the calculation takes longer than expected, a popup will appear notifying the user of the ongoing process:

Segment Calculation Queued Popup :

Your segment calculation is taking longer than expected. It’s currently queued and being processed. If you choose YES, the calculation will be completed in the background, and you’ll receive an email once it’s done.

If you click OK, the calculation continues in the background.

If you click Cancel, the calculation stops.

Timeout Durations by Region:

TR: 15 minutes
US, EU:10 minutes
RU: 5 minutes

Note: Timeout durations vary by server region. Please refer to the region-specific durations listed above.

5: Recalculation Option

If you wish to recalculate the segment, the old details in the Info Box are replaced with the most recent calculation results once recalculated.

6: Receive Completion Notification

Upon successful completion, an email notification will be sent with the segment's final details, indicating the calculation has been completed.

7: Accessing the Segment Snapshot

Upon clicking the link in the email, the user is redirected to the Segment Snapshot Details page.
The filters used to create the segment are displayed but cannot be edited. This ensures consistency in the snapshot data.
