Contact Extension Report

The Contact Extension Reporting update introduces improved visibility into how campaigns are delivered when contacts have multiple email addresses or phone numbers.

With these enhancements, reporting screens now display the actual recipient address used for delivery, whether that address belongs to the primary contact record or one of its extensions.

How to Access Contact the Extension Report

You can access contact-level enhancements from different areas of the platform:

  • From a Contact Profile
Go to Audience > Profiles > Select a Contact
The updates are available under Campaign History and Permission History.

  • From Campaign Canvas

Go to Campaigns > Flow Campaigns > Flows and select your campaign from the list. On the campaign page, hover over the relevant campaign node and click View Report. You will be directed to the Campaign Summary page. From there, open the Delivered section to view the contact list.

Campaign Canvas Reporting

The Campaign Canvas now shows the exact email address or phone number that the campaign was delivered to.

If the delivery is made to a Contact Extension, the canvas displays that extension address.
If the message is sent to the primary email or phone, the canvas shows the primary address as usual.

This update ensures full transparency for campaign execution and makes it easy to understand which contact method was used.

Contact Card – Campaign History

Campaign History now includes a “Sent to” detail that shows the specific address; primary or extension used in each communication.

A conditional display rule ensures that this added detail only appears when the contact has at least one extension defined. For contacts without extensions, the history view remains unchanged for clarity and simplicity.

This enhancement enables users to understand which address received each campaign, in scenarios where multiple emails or phone numbers exist for the same contact.

Permission History Enhancements

Permission History now records permission changes for all identifiers, including extension email addresses and phone numbers.

Each log entry clearly identifies which address the permission event relates to, ensuring that permission tracking is complete, accurate, and fully aligned with compliance needs.

These improvements bring greater clarity and completeness to Contact Extension reporting.

Users can now see precisely which email or phone number was used for every send, confidently review extension-specific delivery history, and maintain comprehensive permission logs for all contact identifiers.
