Inbox Analytics
Inbox campaigns give you two reports. The campaign's Analytics tab shows totals for the whole flow, covering every send and every channel it uses. The Inbox Detailed Report drills into one inbox send and shows how recipients behaved: impressions, opens, clicks, deletes, button level clicks, and the applications, devices, and browsers used.
| You want to... | Use |
|---|---|
| See campaign totals, compare channels in the flow, or follow the trend over time | Campaign Analytics tab |
| See how one inbox send performed: impressions, opens, clicks, deletes, button clicks, and client environments | Inbox Detailed Report |
1. Campaign Analytics Tab
How to Access
- Go to Campaign > Flows and select the One Time or Recurring tab.
- Click the three dots at the end of the campaign row and select Flow/Analytics. Alternatively, click the campaign name and then click the Analytics tab.
- For recurring campaigns, select the Job Version and set the Date Range, then press the Report button to generate the report.
What It Shows
- Total Sent: All messages sent by the campaign, split into Contacts (registered users) and Anonymous (unregistered or unidentified users), with Opens and Clicks beside it. Hover a card to see its Contacts and Anonymous split.
- Channel Comparison: Sends, Delivered, and Engagements for each channel, so you can compare inbox against the other channels the campaign uses.
- Sends table: One row per send with Send Name, Channel, Audience (Contact or Anonymous), Delivered, Opens, and Clicks. Use the Percent / Number toggle to switch how values display, and the gear icon to configure columns. For inbox sends, the Delivered column reflects the impressions reported by your applications.
- Performance chart: A time chart of Delivered or Engagement, switchable between daily, weekly, and monthly views.
The Analytics tab stops at campaign level numbers. To see what recipients did with one inbox message, open its detailed report.
2. Inbox Detailed Report
How to Access
From the campaign flow:
- Open your campaign. It opens on the Flow tab.
- Click the Inbox node. A summary popover opens with the template, start and end times, and the send's key counts: Sent, Impression, and Click, together with the Click Rate.
- Click View report. The report opens in a new tab.
The report header displays the campaign name, the send status (for example, Completed), and Total Targeted, the number of recipients targeted by this send. The Public ID button copies the report's public ID to your clipboard for shareable report access.
The report has two tabs, Summary and Clients. On both tabs, use the Select App dropdown to view the report for a single application or for All Apps.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab contains the overall performance of the send:
- Content card: A preview thumbnail of the inbox message, the Send Name, the Message title, the Applications the send was delivered to, and assigned Tags.
- Total Sent: The number of messages processed for this send, with Exclude and Has Error counters next to it for messages left out of the send and messages that failed with an error.
- Impression: The number of people who saw the message in their inbox, with the impression rate and the Total / Unique split. Total counts every time the message was displayed; Unique counts each person once.
- Open: The number of people who opened the message, with the open rate and the Total / Unique split.
- Click: The number of people who clicked, with the click rate and the Total / Unique split.
- Delete: The number of messages recipients deleted from their inbox, with the delete rate.
- Clicks By Device: A donut chart that splits clicks across Mobile Phone, Tablet, Desktop, and Unknown devices. Each device also lists its click count and delete count.
- Results: A funnel from Impression to Open to Clicks, with the Impression Rate, the Open Rate, and the Click To Open Rate (CTOR), the share of openers who clicked.
- Button Clicks: The click performance of each button in your inbox message. The section shows No Data until button click signals arrive for the send.
Clients Tab
Shows where the message was displayed and interacted with, in five blocks: Applications, Device Types, Operating System, Device Brands, and Browser. Each block pairs a table of Total Impression, Total Open, Total Click, and Delete counts with a comparison chart.
| Block | What it breaks down |
|---|---|
| Applications | Each application the send was delivered to, so you can compare performance across your apps and sites. |
| Device Types | Desktop and mobile usage. |
| Operating System | Operating systems such as Mac OS X and Android. |
| Device Brands | Device manufacturers such as Apple and Google. |
| Browser | Browsers such as Chrome and Chrome Mobile. |
The data is generated from the impression, open, click, and delete signals your applications send. Until signals arrive, the blocks stay empty.
TipIf one application or platform shows clearly fewer impressions or clicks than the others, check how visible the inbox entry point is in that application.

Prerequisites
- The report becomes available after the send runs; impression, open, click, and delete metrics fill in as signals arrive from your applications.
- Recurring campaigns require a Job Version and Date Range selection before generating the report.
- Inbox messages are delivered to the applications selected in the campaign. The Select App filter lists those applications, and the Clicks By Device chart, the Button Clicks section, and the Clients tab need impression, open, and click signals from them.
